A Xmas Survery!

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? I love to wrap...gift bags make me feel guilty
2. Real tree or artificial? It has to be real...altho...this year I am really starting to understand why people get fake ones, because I wanted to get a tree the day after Thanksgiving and wasn't sure if a real one would last...
3. When do you put up the tree? Every year I want to put it up earlier and earlier...this year we got ours the 1st weekend of Dec.
4. When do you take the tree down? The week after Christmas I think...it's so crispy by then!
5. Do you like eggnog? Yes, especially with a splash of Captain Morgan's!
6. Favorite gift received as a child? It was my first cabbage patch doll...I was so little so I have such a faint of memory about coming down the stairs and seeing her leaning up against the tree, she was so pretty.
7. Do you have a nativity scene? Yes it's the one Brandon made for me last year out of a shoe box and playdough figurines of Mary & Joseph and baby Jesus- I'll cherish it forever.
8. Hardest person to buy for? My father-in-law
9. Easiest person to buy for? Brandon, he tells me exactly what he wants!
10. Worst Christmas gift ever received? I can't say...
11. Mail or email Christmas card? Mail! It's so personal...
12. Favorite Christmas Movie? It has to be National Lampoon's Xmas Vacation
13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? I try to in October, but I always end up stalling till Dec.!
14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? Nope
15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? The chocolates in the bottom of my stocking
16. Clear lights or colored on the tree? Clear lights, it lets the other colors of the ornaments stand out
17. favorite Christmas song? Hmm....maybe not a fav. song - I just got a new Xmas mixed artist CD from Starbucks that is great
18. Travel at Christmas or stay home? Now that we have kids we stay home, but before we were always traveling!
19. can you name Santa's reindeer? Nope- not even gonna try!
20. Do you have an angel or a star on top of the tree? Gold Star
21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? We always waited until Xmas morning, but Andrew's family does One present Xmas eve...that is hard for me cause I like to wait!
22. Most annoying thing about this time of year? Feeling like I should buy more than I do...I always feel like I should've done more...
23. Favorite thing of the season? I love to see the excitement on my kids' faces...and I love to sit in my livingroom after the kids have gone to sleep, with the tree lights on, a cup of tea, and my book or a magazine...
