So this morning the boys saw him sitting up on my curtain rod, and they totally were eyes-open flabbergasted! I read them the little poem that came with him, and all day Brandon is walking by the Elf and looking sideways at him, like "is he watching me?"!!!! He's totally falling for it...and he even says to me "mom, can he see thru walls?" ...Like he's wondering if he's naughty downstairs if the Elf can see him still, ha!!!Monday, December 1, 2008
Mr. Magic Elf
Has anyone heard of this idea? My friend Rian told me she has one too...and then Margaret gave me Mr. Magic Elf for the boys...so he shows up on Dec. 1st and sits somewhere high where the kids can't reach him. Each night he flies to a new shelf, cabinet, etc. and delivers a morning message about the meaning of Christmas, and the kids have to find him somewhere in the house. He watches over the kids and then reports back to Santa when he flies back at night...seriously this is the cutest idea EVER!

Elf on the shelf! I've heard of it and think it's getting close for us to have one as well! Where did yours come from? This is cute!
good idea! I'm going to implement it with Wesley now- might as well get his best behavior.
