Energy, energy, and MORE energy!!

I dunno how they do it...just watching them makes me exhausted!! Last night was the "Charter-Member" thank-you party that MyGym threw for their members who have been with them since the beginning (We've been members since they opened in Dec. '07). They had lots of games and activites and then a pizza/cupcake dinner for everyone. I just love this place and it's really like a second home to my children. I love this one of Cam and the bubbles - how cute is that??
And then this morning was Brandon's 1st basketball game. I really am so excited to be a part of team sports with my children. Being there for each game and supporting our children is so important to Andrew and I as I sat there watching him I just felt so proud. The smell of the old gym, the smiles of the kids, the water bottles/snacks at the end - it's quite an experience and we love it!!

The kids ran all over the place but got the hang of the "rules" towards the end of the game. Brandon played great defense and choose to pass more than shoot (which is what Andrew said he did too as a young player). We had a great laugh when the litte boy whom Brandon was defending was looking around instead of focusing on the game, and grandma Angie leans over and says "where am I? What's goin on? Am I at the dentist?" LOL!! It's so funny to see these little ones try so hard to focus!!
Had to sneak in this one- he'll never know!!
Here's a short video I took...

so cute! i can't wait to be a sports Mom some day...I always loved playing sports growing up...bus rides, trash talking, checking out the boy from other schools ;)

I don't know what happened to me- now I can't stand playing athletics myself...but I sure hope Wesley does!

GrAngie's comment had me cracking up! That was so funny. I love the video...what a hodge-podge of kids running around without a clue! So funny. I can't wait to join the ranks of "basketball Mom" or soccer, baseball, whatever interests them... that will be so much fun. I have so many great memories of having my parents in the stands at the hundreds of softball games I've played in my life. It's a really great feeling to know that your whole family is behind you and cheering you on. These are days Brandon will never forget. You are great parents for making the financial and time sacrifice to give him this great experience.
