A reason...or an excuse?

well I've decided that the reason (or excuse?) for my lack-of-posting lately is that I've become anal about posting pictures...I've learned so much lately about the "cleaning up" process of uploading and tweaking my photos that it takes me twice as long to post as it used too - please someone say that my picts are ever-so-slightly-improved for this reason - so I'm sorry I've been lazy about taking the extra time to post! so, with that said...

The boys are so goofy, especially Brandon! Whenever he sees me with my camera now his initial reaction is to make this ridiculous face. ugh, I think the only "real" picts I will get of him are if I snap while he's not looking! And I could just eat-him-up ;-) He's so animated lately, using such big words and acting so, well, older! I'm saddened by the baby stage being gone but to watch him grow and learn is a true blessing. p.s. we've now successfully accomplished 2 hair cuts w/o the massive shrieks and screams - I think that phase is over finally now too...now if we could just master potty training, ugh.
Last night I was totally in soup-mode so I decided to use the hamhock I had been saving in the freezer...Andrew helped me make our family recipe of Split Pea soup - it was delicious!

These are top-notch peas people...do ask if you'd like some and we'd be happy to send 'em your way!!
Andrew re-designed the product bag 2 years ago and I love the way it looks...
Again, Brandon in the background making the "face"

Hope everyone is staying healthy and having a lovely week sofar!

I would love to send you all peas! ;-) I never knew very many people actually liked split pea soup...the recipe is wonderful and it's right on the bag itself along with a wonderful Lentil Soup that my mom makes and Andrew had it printed on the label! I will email you all and get addresses and then send some your way!
