Brandon's latest obsession? The Skate park in Liberty Lake...he's all-like "mo-om, the skate park is waaay awesome, dude!" To which my reply is "yeah man, it's all-like gonna give you a broken bone, dude!" (insert this in a skater-slash-surfer tone of voice) He was a tad outta his league the other night when we went...there were tons of older kids "shredding" the bars and stuff (I know, stop while I'm ahead, right?) but usually we go in the mornings and play at the park right next door too.
Oh and he asked me if he could get a pair of
Heelys for school...I told him I don't think they allow Heelys in school (not sure of this is true, but it sounds good).
This summer is one of the busiest and fastest summers of my life...every day is filled with smiles and sunshine and activities that make me fall into bed at night...I'm so thankful for a few more weeks before I have to take my boys back to school and buy them school clothes ;-)

Agreed on the Heelys....I think they would be unsafe and a huge distraction on school grounds. Too bad Brandon's Mom was a teacher once upon a time! Damn...you know too much! He will learn that sooner or later.
