Basketball season makes me giddy

Basketball is my favorite sport that my kids play. I can't wait for the day when they are both playing (Cam has to wait till next year). The smell of the gym, the wind whipping thru my son's skater-dude hair, new Nike basketball shoes, the shear JOY of making a simple shot in that ever-so-high basket...it makes me have goose bumps everytime. Brandon likes this sport and I really hope he continues...this year we decided to put together a little YMCA 2nd grade boys team and Andrew is their coach. Most of the boys have know eachother since preschool with the exception of a few new faces that fit right in =) I adore Brandon's buddies and all the parents so very much. I look forward to each practice and game as a chance to see my sons skills grow and use my social skills a bit too =)
