Summer break is here...

This week was a busy one! Every day brought sunshine and lots of friends- I'm so thankful since this past winter we all felt so cooped up.

Brandon had his last week of preschool and it was really fun to watch him play and have these cute meaningful conversations with all his buddies and participate in a sweet graduation ceremony to top it all off. A part of me is thankful for the break for summer because it's hard getting out the door in the morning on time (ha!), but a bigger part is sad for the loss of routine (I will miss my 15 minutes of social time with the other moms while waiting to pick him up from school...) and also sad because the next round of school is Kindergarden!! seriously, time goes by too fast people...!!

I have a few goals this summer...since Kindergarden is right around the corner I really want to start reading with Brandon more and I've started visiting our local children's library to help him pick out books. Maybe a little incentive home-made reading program will take shape...and I'm super excited to visit and shop at our local farmer's markets, there's always something totally domestic about preparing several meals a week from the local fare...

One more thought- we have a BIG delivery today to our housse- I'll post pictures later on to share what I'm talking about- have a wonderful weekend everyone!
